Hello! Hey! Hey Y’all! Who is Stephanie? I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, fierce friend and loyal confident. Born on the South side of Chicago, but raised in the south suburbs of Chicago my entire life. I lived in Chicago for a few years in my twenties, but when I got married I headed right back to the burbs because I’m a sucker for grass, trees, flowers, general greenery and woodland creatures so long as they stay outside.
I love my family tremendously and I love coffee cups only a little less than them. Good books, music, movies and company will have me lost for hours. Singing, particularly with my little ladies brings me all the joy… My husband and son pretend they want us to stop. We don’t. I’m the lady that is giving a full on Beyonce level concert from the car. You love that lady! She makes you smile.
I have a Masters in Education and used it to teach extraordinary children in the inner cities of Chicago. I’m certain I learned more from them. I love the kids. I have a special gift for turning non-readers into page turners. So, I’m fun and smart… and clever, and corny and suspicious, and loving and honest and flawed annnnnd I could do this all day. Ha! I am an every day woman who is forgiving herself for the mistakes, rejecting the shame and writing for you(and me) to help normalize life.
